ABOUT ME
Sammy has accumulated 10 years of coaching experience within the game, with his experience ranging from a wide range of coaching contexts (from grassroots to elite level). Sammy has gained over 9 years of full-time coaching experience within an elite environment as well as over 2 years of academy level scouting experience, all of which has helped him gain a further understanding and knowledge of how to identify and develop talent within elite environments. Because of this, it means Sammy can fuse the vast array of experience and qualifications he has to create an environment where players can be analysed, given recommendations for improvement, and then given the necessary feedback to enhance their holistic development, irrespective of their level of ability, age or level of experience.
Sammy and co-owner Dean Winters came together five years ago to create 4CornerSport, a programme built around player development and opportunity. The core aim of 4CornerSport is to provide a clear pathway for players to grow, progress, and gain access to opportunities within academy football, helping them take the next step in their journey.

Over the course of eight years, Sammy worked full-time at Norwich City Football Club. This role provided an excellent opportunity to develop as a coach while gaining exposure to a wide range of scenarios, programmes, and coaching experiences. Sammy worked within academy recruitment, scouting Foundation Phase players to join the academy.
Through collaborating with numerous coaches over the years, Sammy built a strong professional network, which has helped secure excellent fixture opportunities for both our academy and ATP programmes.

Sammy has had number of different experiences within his coaching journey so far and here's why...
Abroad:
- Coaching in Spain 5 times to deliver sessions to local/ uk schools and grassroots teams as part of their sporting tour. This included coaching at some fantastic facilities and coaching grassroots to academy level players. This was whilst working with Norwich City and going out in groups or individually.
- Taking groups of players on tours around the uk and abroad to give a week full of football and opportunities.
4CS:
- Coaching within the 4CS academy for its first year, providing opportunities for U10s to train, develop and experience fixtures that others in Cambridgeshire haven't faced.
- Helped 25 players get into professional football clubs within their development teams, elites/ advanced and academy.
- Taking the U10s to a number of academies for fixtures and showcase events.
St Georges Park:
- Having the opportunity to deliver sessions at St Georges Park, England Training Ground, across their grass and astro pitches.
Stadiums:
- Delivering sessions at a number of football grounds include Cambridge United, Norwich City and Peterborough United.
- Stadium tours with training sessions include at Tottenham Hotspurs, Leicester City, Brighton, Norwich City, Ipswich, Manchester United, Manchester City and more.
Norwich City:
- Experienced a first team training session at Colney Training Ground
- Assist on Norwich City Ladies First Team Training
- Coached across the boys and girls development programmes
- Coordinator and lead coach on boys and girls programmes
- Coach for U18s scholarship programme full time
Pro:Direct:
- Delivering training for U18 scholars for Pro:direct in partnership with Sketchers. A product testing day which included their social media team providing content.
