4CornerSport is committed to supporting young footballers in achieving their goals, both on and off the pitch. Our invitation-only Advanced Training Programme, which will take place at Coleridge Community College, Cambridgeshire, will provide excellent opportunities and experiences for development-level players who have the potential to progress into our academy programme.
Our programme offers half-term fixtures against other professional clubs and private academy development centres, along with a comprehensive 32-week syllabus (which is the same as the one we use for the Academy) to ensure we provide a holistic, relevant, and excellent player-centred experience for our ATP players, enabling them to maximise their individual potential.
We are extremely proud to offer another development pathway for all young footballers in Cambridgeshire, and we can’t wait to see even more success stories and progressions in the 2025/26 season.

AGE GROUPS BETWEEN U8-U12 HAVE 2 DIFFERENT SQUADS
ACADEMY: Our highest tier of the 4CS Development Pyramid.
ATP: Our second tier of the 4CS Development Pyramid.
The Advanced Training Programme will offer a stepping stone for players to develop, progress, and enhance their ability to ensure they have the required skills to reach the next level of our development pyramid.
All players will be monitored thoroughly by our coaches to ensure they are being challenged sufficiently and are given opportunities to progress to the next level when they reach the appropriate stage in their development.
Opportunities to be selected for Academy fixtures if players are training well and progressing within the ATP which will be monitored by the coaches and providing feedback to ATP coordinator.
ADVANCED TRAINING PROGRAMME - HOW TO BECOME A PLAYER
Our Advanced Training Programme is an invitation-only programme. Therefore, players can be identified through one of the following programmes: half-term performance camps, Futsal Development Programme training, 1-1 sessions/small group sessions, assigned trials or grassroots sessions delivered by 4CS coaches.
In addition to the above, you can also register your interest by using the form below. Once submitted, you will be contacted by 4CS and may be offered a trial (this is a discretionary process, so if successful, you will receive an email with a trial offer).
If you are invited for a trial, it will last for a maximum of two weeks. Upon completion of the two-week trial, you will receive an email detailing the outcome of the trial period. If successful, you will receive an offer email that comprehensively outlines all the relevant information you will need to join our ATP Programme.
SUCCESS STORIES
Last season, Riley was training in the ATP, where he showed significant improvement week in and week out. During fixtures, he displayed great confidence and impressed not only us but also several professional clubs.
After witnessing Riley’s progress, we offered him a two-week trial with our academy to assess how he would adapt to the academy group. Following two very successful weeks, Riley was invited to join our academy programme and completed the remainder of the 2024/25 season with us.
This is a fantastic achievement and a clear example of how our ATP training not only helps players improve but also provides a pathway for them to be challenged and potentially earn a place in our academy and participate in academy fixtures.
Our ATP programme is designed to push players and offer academy trial opportunities to those who demonstrate strong work ethic, excellent training attendance, and the ability to step up during fixtures.
